Pension Criteria
The Military Pension Rules – 1960 govern the pensions/commutations of officers, warrant officers and airmen. Military pension does not include disability, family, compassionate and child benefits, but includes early retirement. Payments and permanent disability pensions are also allowed for commissioners, subject to the conditions of their health. Pakistan Air Force provides handsome pension after retirement. At retirement, the amount of pension depends on length of service, rank and pay scale. Pension will be granted after completion of qualifying service.
